I am writing to you because I went to the High Times website, found your link there and was really impressed with your sale and prices. As a medical marijuana patient I can legally use cannabis in California - the problem is getting it past the Feds and into my possession.
I think I may be forced to grow my own medicine since the cost is over $329/ounce, even at a legal Greenway Caregivers Co-op. Because I don't know what the future holds I am ordering a larger than normal order hoping that with this being the holiday season, the Post Offices will be sufficiently flooded with mail that your package to me will be less scrutinized - The Federal Government will still confiscate if they know about it, whereas the government of the State of California will leave ir alone.
I am a disabled person living in San Jose and until 4 1/2 years ago, an IBM employee. I am 52 years old and have been considered disabled since my first hospitalization with congestive heart failure in May 1999. Because of the CHF I have been holding water very seriously in spite of taking Lasix, Burnex and Zaroxolyn and these only work when I'm lying down. When i say I'm, seriously holding water I'm only 33% body fat yet at 6'2" tall I weigh over 500lbs. Arthritis in both hips and knees has left me nearly immobile, except when using a walker. My current physician has me on Vicodin ES, Dilaudid, and the Fentanyl patch in an effort to control the serious chronic pain, and the only pain killer for the last 5 years that I've had access to was the Vicodin ES 7.5/750, but the amount I need to take to handle the pain causes me to use excessive levels of Tylenol as far as my liver is concerned. Vicoprofen used to work very well for me until a serious deep vein thrombosis incident that hospitalized me for over a week, and I've been on 15mg. Coumadiri every day now for the past 4 years, severely limiting what pain medications I can have access to.
.
39 months ago two Cardiologists and one Surgeon each gave me 18 months to live - they said I would drown from internal fluid build-up. A year ago last February I was in the hospital for just that very problem, and 5 days (and 17 net liters of urine later) I was rel6ased to return home. Now, I'm in a situation where I feel as though I am at my wits end. Ambulance Chasers have been seeking people who have been injdred by Fentanyl, so one wonders about that - my only problem with the Fentanyl is that I can't get the paCches to stick for more than 24 hours, and they need to be in place for 72 hours at a time. Dilaudid works rather well for me, but because of that nature of that pain killer, doctors seem to be very careful about the dosage and the frequency of use for that medicine, and the Vicodin requires my taking too much Tylenol to get the pain reduction that I need, so at this point, I'm seeking the only other option ! can - to use cannabis. Because I'm disabled, I don't have much money and it's hard for me to get around, but the pain is driving me to desperate attempts to try to find some relief.
.
I did do some marijuana recreationally in the late 60s and early 70s because I am of that generation, but my needs are far different now, and I don't need to have any run-ins with the law. I may not have much longer to live. I've been hospitalized 4 times in 7 years for congestive heart failure, and another 5 times for problems with blood clots (3 times for pulmonary emboli, and 2 times for deep vein thrombosis) so I am now permanently on Coumadin - I feel that cannibis is my last resort.
.
If you took the time to read this epistle, I sincerely thank you. If you can help, I would be deeply grateful to you. I want to benefit from this as legally as possible, but I'm no longer worried about possible side effects - I may not be around long enough for them to be a concern, I just seek relief from the never-ending pain in my hips, knees and shins.
Sincerely,
.
